Audrina Patridge is something of an anomaly… these days she’s probably more recognized from her social sightings and nude photos than for her show “The Hills.”

The brunette babe was spotted at the Kenneth Cole Celebrates The Awareness Fund event last night in Los Angeles, California. And she was dressed to impress.

Patridge opted for a sleek grey sleeveless, knee-length dress with a yellow belt and matching grey heels with yellow accents… quite the coordinated outfit.

According to an industry insider, Audrina’s recent nude photo scandal may have done wonders for boosting her into the next level of her career. “It is amazing what a nude scandal can do for one’s profile. We were all taken aback by the sudden interest in her appearance - it was crazy. Patridge certainly gave Paris a run for her money in terms of being able to pull a crowd.”

And Public Relations specialist Adam Weiss commented, “The nude pictures have already lifted Audrina’s profile - it was the most talked-about issue before ‘The Hills’ premiere. Everybody was searching the Web looking for Audrina’s pictures and with a bangin’ body like hers, who can blame them?”

Audrina Patridge may be dealing with the reality of her past, but don’t look for it be covered on her reality show The Hills.

I’m on the phone with Lauren Bosworth, better known as Lo on the hit MTV series. “I don’t think so,” she says when I ask if cameras are rolling to capture the nudie photos controversy. “I don’t think that’s an issue that needs to be presented.”

She also doesn’t think Kristin Cavallari needs to be getting back into the mix. Cavallari has said she has no plans to be on the MTV series again, but it’s not like Bosworth and her roommates Patridge and Lauren “L.C.” Conrad would even welcome her back with open arms. “I don’t mean it in a mean way at all, but she’s just not tied into this group of friends,” says Bosworth, 21. “It’s really like our little group that’s on The Hills. She has her own group in L.A.”

Bosworth, a senior majoring in art history at UCLA, says she’s not exactly sure what she wants to do after graduation in June.

How about a clothing line like Conrad and Whitney Port? Nah, designing isn’t her thing. “I would love to do my own makeup line,” she gushes. “That would be such an accomplishment.”

The special extended third season of The Hills premieres Monday night, but viewers may not see as much partying as they once did. “We have a baby at home,” Bosworth says. “Our puppy right now is 11½ weeks old. She’s still such a baby…We’ve really been focusing on the puppy. That’s why we haven’t been going out lately.”

OK, now back to Patridge’s nudie pics. Is Bosworth worrying about any skeletons in her own closet coming back to haunt her?

“No,” she says. “I think I’m pretty secure with my past.”
