She gave her family and friends quite a scare when she was rushed to the hospital last week. But yesterday Jessica Simpson was spotted out and about for the first time since she was released.

The “With You” singer was seen having lunch yesterday with her mother Tina, sister Ashlee, and Ashlee’s main man, Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz.

And for a girl who just got out of the hospital after having a serious kidney infection, Jess looked pretty darn good, although she was a bit camera shy.

Hopefully this medical issue won’t throw off her new album schedule. Simpson is reportedly working on a country-genre project due out later this year.

Speaking of Tony Romo, Jess was returning from an action-packed trip with the Dallas Cowboy to Six Flags Over Texas. And from the sound of it, they had an amazing time together.

Reportedly, they took in all the theme park had to offer, checking out the Superman and Mr. Freeze rides, in addition to playing a game of basketball, during which Romo won the furry blue dragon.
