Angelina JolieToting around her growing baby bump, Angelina Jolie arrived to discuss a new worldwide education initiative at a Council on Foreign Relations forum in Washington DC on Tuesday (April 8).

The day prior, Jolie was spotted running around the nation’s capital with sons Maddox and Pax Jolie-Pitt, paying a visit to D.C.’s Air and Space Museum, The Washington Post reports.

Insiders on the scene told People that Angelina was “accompanied by security guards and sporting a navy blue hoodie, 6-year-old Maddox and 4-year-old Pax, in an olive green jacket, reportedly asked a barrage of questions as they gazed upon Space Hall, Skylab and the WWI and WWII aerial exhibits.”

Later on Monday night, Jolie left the kiddies at home as she attended a Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards gala, where she presented Mariane Pearl with an award.

Angelina Jolie’s backbreaking babies

Angelina JoliePregnant Angelina Jolie is struggling to carry her twins - because the babies are so heavy.

The Oscar-winning actress, who is rumoured to be expecting a boy and girl, is finding the burden of having two tots inside her exhausting.

A source close to Angelina - who already has three adopted children, Maddox, six, Pax, four, Zahara, three, as well as 22-month-old daughter Shiloh with partner Brad Pitt - told America’s Star magazine: “Her feet are so swollen that her shoes have gone up a half size at least.

“She’s constantly tired. She’s sick and irritable and feels heavy and weak.”

Angelina is also said to be suffering from gestational diabetes, a condition in which women without previously diagnosed diabetes exhibit high blood glucose levels during pregnancy.

An insider added: “Angelina has gestational diabetes. She found out about a month ago and has been trying to keep it under wraps. She’s been seeing a nutritionist about it - frequently.”

She has now had to change her diet in order to cope with her condition.

JOLIE BABY PIX ‘WORTH $10M’

Angelina JolieTHERE’S no limit to how much money celebrities are being paid to pimp out their babies in the magazines and tabloids.

After paying Christina Aguilera a reported $1.5 million in February for shots of her newborn, Max, People shelled out a whopping $6 million to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony for the first photos of new twins, Max and Emme.

One magazine editor who asked to remain anonymous said, “It’s at the point now where some stars might decide to have more kids just to collect the money from their photos.”

Pregnant stars are now “treating this like a game,” said National Enquirer Executive Editor Barry Levine.

“It’s become big business now,” Levine said. “It’s outrageous, they’ve gotten very sophisticated. The rights are bought up now even before the celeb enters the hospital. They hire extra security so it’s impossible to obtain a photo illegally.”

Levine said stars now realize that having a child is “akin to getting a role in a movie.” And the glossies don’t mind paying because they recoup the money over time with magazine sales, Web hits, and by re-selling the photos overseas.

Angelina Jolie, rumored to be carrying twins, could nab up to $10 million for selling the first exclusive photos of the babies, Levine estimates.

“That’s where the market is right now,” he said. “When I was the editor of Star in LA, we bought photos of Lisa Marie Presley’s baby back in 1989 for $100,000, and at the time I thought it was outrageous. Now it’s chump change.” He added, “I’d like to see more people like Sarah Jessica Parker standing outside the hospital and giving the shot away for free.”

American Media Editorial Director Bonnie Fuller said the payouts just keep escalating. “If J.Lo really did get $6 million, then I think Angelina can now command $8 million,” Fuller said. “The magazines must look at it as a long-term investment, but I think it’ll cap out at a certain point.”

Halle Berry, who just gave birth to a baby girl, falls below Jolie in terms of interest. “I can’t think at this point who could command more money than Brangelina,” said Fuller.

Paris HiltonSure she’s in South Africa to hang with her boyfriend Benji Madden and his band Good Charlotte on their tour, but Paris Hilton is a sucker for loving on orphans! The “Hottie and the Nottie” starlet was spotted doing a little humanitarian work yesterday in Pretoria. And from the looks of it, the kids loved her.Miss Hilton stopped by the Jacaranda Children’s home for orphans to brighten up the day for the home’s residents. She wore a beautiful white dress along with a Kentucky Derby-style hat as she schmoozed with the youngsters. One of them even brought her a bouquet of flowers! And while South African orphans love her, it seems that environmentalist groups are slamming Paris for her 12-day 20,000 mile flight schedule. Apparently the heiress is using too many fossil fuels in too little time, hence increasing the pollution in the air.
